Na konferencji EUROBIOTECH 2017, która odbyła się w Krakowie w dniach 11-14 września wręczono siedem nagród książkowych ufundowanych przez Fundację.
Nagrody za trzy najlepsze prezentacje otrzymali: Karolina Pierzynowska (Improvement in behavior and biochemical parameters in the streptozotocin-induced rat model of Alzheimer disease treated with genistein), Olga Mucha i Paulina Podkalicka (Searching for the right tool for heme oxygenase-1 inhibition – the comparison of small-molecule inhibitors, shRNA and CRISPR/Cas9 system) i Dan Kučera (Strategies to improve the yield of PHAs produced from wood material).
Nagrodzono również najlepsze studenckie wystąpienia ustne. Pierwszą Nagrodę przyznano Paulinie Santus (The model of intragenic homologous recombination in mouse embryonic stem cells), Drugą Nagrodę Małgorzacie Janik (Polymeric nanocapsules with oil cores as drug delivery systems), zaś Trzecią Nagrodę – Patrycji Jakubek (The impact of processing on human milk microRNA composition).
